Material and Technology Information Of PM-HIP Oval liner

The typical material model of our PM-HIP Oval liner is equal to model 1.2292.2 from W&P in Germany. The material name is G-X 250CrV25, or GP 27M at W&P company. The name of our product is Ω101A. The hardness of finished Ω101A ovalliner is HRC 60~64. Besides, there are two other kinds of alloy that need to be chosen. One is an Ω201A alloy for corrosion resistance, and another is an Ω301A for both abrasion and corrosion resistance.

Ω101A alloy is a Fe-based alloy material with high wear-resistance thanks to Si-Cr-B carbide, Mn3C, Cr3C2 and other carbide grains combined with the Fe-based material. Ω201A and Ω301A alloy are two kinds of Co-base with Cr-W-C alloy that provide high-temperature-resistance, corrosive-resistance and cavitation- resistance. The overliner is molded under a very high temperature and pressure, increasing alloy density.

PM-HIP technology is needed in order to process high-alloy in powder metallurgy (PM) techniques way into high-density composite materials by hot isostatic pressing(HIP). Shanghai Omega Machinery Co., ltd. is the first company in China to research and develop this PM-HIP technology to produce liners with special features. It fixes the inside segment barrel of twin screw extruders.

Our material made from PM-HIP technology is subject to W&P company in Germany, do not release the material ingredient to public. Your understanding is appreciated.
