What are the corresponding solutions to the phenomenon of grooves and pits on the surface of profiles?

When the production of two-color co-extruded profiles is not properly controlled, the co-extrusion surface is prone to problems such as grooves and pits.

The solutions to these issues are as follows:
1. Before preheating and stretching, the temperature of the die should not be set too high. Otherwise, during material feeding, PVC material may adhere to the inner wall of the die and the core rod, causing local material accumulation and even decomposition, which will affect the blending with the co-extruded material.
2. Before starting the machine, the co-extruded material should be fed first, and the discharge condition of the co-extruder should be adjusted to prevent the co-extrusion layer from being too thick or too thin.
3. The screw and thermocouple of the co-extruder should be cleaned regularly to prevent the accumulation of burnt material on the screw and temperature deviations, which may affect the plasticization of the co-extruded material.
