What are the requirements for molding equipment and process control when producing APET sheet?

To improve the low-temperature impact resistance and aging resistance of PP pipes, modification of the PP material is typically employed. Commonly used blending modifiers include low-density polyethylene (LDPE), ethylene-propylene rubber, polybutadiene rubber, or thermoplastic elastomers. When performing blending modification, a PP resin with a melt flow rate of 0.2–0.5 g/10 min is generally selected as the primary raw material. Appropriate amounts of LDPE, antioxidants, UV stabilizers, and fillers are added, thoroughly mixed in a high-speed mixer, followed by the addition of polybutadiene rubber and further uniform mixing. The mixture is then extruded and pelletized to produce modified PP pellets. Using these modified PP pellets to manufacture PP pipes significantly enhances their low-temperature impact resistance and aging resistance.
