3. We are a machine builder from the Netherlands. Specialized in food extrusion. For one type of our extruders we are searching for a alternative to our present barrels from Bernex. Could you please advise the best bimetal solution for us. It would be nice if we can eliminate the gap between the C-liners. We're also interested in a alternative in a stainless steel type of barrel. Our barrels are typical diameter 120 (or 108 or 104), pitch 100 (or 90 or 86), L/D40. (In two parts, so length is aprox. 20D). Do you have experience in such type of barrels? Is the bimetal layer certified for use in the food industry? I'm looking forward to hear from you.
