How should the counter-rotating twin-screw extruder be operated during no-load testing?

For newly purchased or overhauled extruders, a no-load trial run must be conducted before commissioning. The operating procedure is as follows:
① First, start the lubricating oil pump and check for any leaks in the lubrication system, ensuring sufficient lubricant reaches all parts. The lubrication system should operate for at least 4 to 5 minutes.
② Start the main motor at low speed, checking whether the current and voltage readings exceed rated values, verifying that the screw rotates smoothly without scraping against the barrel, and confirming there are no abnormal noises or vibrations in the transmission system.
③ If everything is normal, gradually increase the screw speed while monitoring noise changes. This entire process should not exceed 3 minutes. In case of any abnormalities, stop the machine immediately, inspect, and eliminate faults.
④ Start the feeding system, checking whether the feed screw operates normally, whether its speed adjustment functions properly, and whether the motor current remains within rated limits. Verify that the interlock between the feed screw drive motor and the main motor is reliable.
⑤ Start the vacuum pump and check whether the vacuum system operates normally and if there are any leaks.
⑥ Set the heating temperatures for each zone, begin heating the barrel, and record the time required for each heating section to reach the set temperature. Once all zones have reached and stabilized at their set temperatures, measure the actual temperature with a thermometer; the difference between the measured value and the instrument reading should not exceed +3°C.
⑦ Turn off the heating power supply, then activate the cooling device independently to check the cooling system's operation and look for any leaks. Test the emergency stop button to ensure it functions accurately and reliably.
